5-Star Rating For Fairmount Health & Rehab Center

It's an accomplishment only one other facility in Lake County has achieved -- a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Besides receiving a five-star rating overall, The Fairmount Health and Rehabilitation Center also achieved a five-star rating in the category of health inspections.

The center is on the campus of Breckenridge Village retirement community and specializes in leading age care and therapy for those older than 55 who require comprehensive care after a hospitalization for neurological disorders, orthopedic surgery, cardiovascular events or other debilitating conditions.

Breckenridge Village Associate Executive Director Lisa Mansour says the center's staff is the reason for the five-star rating.

"They continue to deliver the highest levels of customer service that go above and beyond a person's physical well-being. The staff has such a strong sense of compassion and desire to give our clients the very best. This is what makes The Fairmount Health and Rehabilitation Center a truly remarkable community," said Mansour who is a licensed nursing home administrator.

The achievement and CMS results came just as Breckenridge Village added 19 new private rehabilitation rooms to the center.
